SpoonBlog is written by Megan Feeley, a passionate home cook who firmly believes in the power of real, honest food to connect us to the land and to each other. Two years ago, she moved to Northern Michigan from her lifelong home in southeastern Virginia and has since fallen in love with everything the Northern Fruitlands have to offer. Well, except for that brief bleak stretch between November and April.
Her favorite American Spoon products are Bartlett Pear Preserves, Black Mission Fig Conserve, Brandied Wild Blackberries, Cherry-Berry Spoon Fruit, Michigan Maple Cream, Northern Michigan Creamed Raw Honey, and Sweet Tomato Relish.
Megan writes all the stories and takes (almost) all the photographs that appear on SpoonBlog, and she has fun doing it. You can email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
